CHAIRMAN.
Your Excellency, the Council Chairman we wholeheartedly supported because of you is sitting on our chests and now we can’t breathe.
The Chapter Chairmanship is for the Upland Bakassi Block. The entire Leadership of the Upland have zoned the position to Ikang South zone.
But the Chairman has spitefully taken the position to Ikang Central – a very depriving IMPOSITION.
Ikang Central is already jam-packed with Commissioner (Mrs Lawrencia Ita), State Security Adviser-South (Rtd Comdr Patrick Odiong), Vice Chairman of Council (Princess Christy Eso), State Appointees – Mrs Mary Ironbar, Mr Eyo Cobham, Mr Inyang Atta, Local Government Appointees – Hon Esemin Archibong (Supervisor for Works), Victor John Okon (Supervisor for Finance), Mr Bassey Cobham (Supervisor for Sanitation and Water Resources).
But Ikang South has only S A Health (Dr Ekpo Ekpo Bassey), S S A Community Relations (Chief Maurice Eyo), SSA Marine Security (Mr Ene Benjamin), Supervisor for Health (Mr Bassey Etim Edet) and Supervisor for Environment (Mr Victor Effiong Eyo).
This is the height of deprivation and imposition.
Your Excellency Sir, he should allow us breathe function according to the pulse of our people, please.
