Nentawe Sworn in as APC National Chairman
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has a new national chairman, Yilwatda Nentawe, who was sworn in at the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting in Abuja. The motion for his appointment was moved by Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma and seconded by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas.
Nentawe, who is also the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Social Development, takes over as the substantive chairman of the party. As a seasoned politician and administrator, he is expected to provide leadership and direction to the party.
Nentawe hails from Plateau State in the North Central Zone and was the APC’s governorship candidate in the 2023 elections. His appointment comes at a critical time for the party, and his leadership will be crucial in shaping the party’s future.
