Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, Registers as APC Member
Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has officially registered as a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state. The registration exercise took place in his hometown, Irrua, Edo State, where he received his registration card as the first member of the party in the state.
The governor expressed satisfaction with the e-registration exercise, describing it as easy and simple. He urged APC members and intending members to freely join the party in its ongoing membership drive ahead of the forthcoming general elections .
Okpebholo encouraged every Edo citizen and those interested in joining the party to register and become full members. He noted that the registration process requires a National Identification Number (NIN) and a voter’s card, among other criteria. The registration can be done online or in-person at designated centers .
The governor thanked the e-registration team and the APC senatorial leader, Major General Cecil Esekhaigbe, for monitoring the process. This development demonstrates Okpebholo’s commitment to the APC and his efforts to strengthen the party in Edo State .
