APC Convention: Abuja Roads to Be Closed, Workers Told to Stay Home

The Federal Government has directed civil servants working in Abuja’s Federal Secretariat to work from home on Friday, March 27, and Saturday, March 28, 2026, due to the All Progressives Congress (APC) national convention.

The convention, scheduled to hold at Eagle Square, will lead to the closure of access roads around the Federal Secretariat Complex, Phases I, II, and III. The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Didi Walson-Jack, signed the directive, citing the need to ensure smooth proceedings .The APC convention will feature 8,453 delegates from across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. The event is expected to be a significant gathering, with key decisions on the party’s leadership and direction.
