Coup Plot Twist: Two Suspects Identified in Alleged $835m Funding Scandal

Exclusive revelations have emerged in the alleged coup plot to overthrow President Bola Tinubu, with two individuals identified as key financiers. Former Bayelsa State Governor Timipre Sylva and Moses Zakwa are accused of channeling millions through private companies to fund the conspiracy.

– Timipre Sylva: Former Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, allegedly contributed N785m via Purple Waves Limited, an Abuja-based construction company.
– Moses Zakwa: Accused of contributing N50m through Clay Ring Services Limited, a Lagos-based property firm.

Security agencies have completed investigations and forwarded findings to the relevant authorities. The Defence Headquarters has identified several officers involved in the plot, describing their actions as “inconsistent with the ethics, values, and professional standards” of the Armed Forces.
