Datti Baba-Ahmed, the 2023 vice-presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), has emphasized the need for a credible successor to Mahmood Yakubu, the current chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Yakubu’s second term ends on November 9, 2025.
