Nominees and Their Respective Agencies
Rivers State Civil Service Commission:5 nominees, including Dr. Barikor Baribuma as Chairman, alongside Lot Egopija, Ms. Maeve Ere-Bestman, Mrs. Joy Obiaju, and Mrs. Charity Lloyd Harry.
Rivers State Electoral Commission
7 nominees, with Dr. Michael Ekpai Odey as Chairman, along with other distinguished individuals such as Prof. Arthur Nwafor and Prof. Godfrey Mbudiogha.
Rivers State Local Government Service Commission:5 nominees, including Israel N. Amadi as Chairman, alongside notable figures like Rear Admiral Emmanuel Ofik (retd) and Sammy Apiafi.Before the screening, the nominees had already declared their assets to the Code of Conduct Bureau and received security clearance from the Department of State Services and the Nigerian Police. The Senate’s ad hoc committee is overseeing the screening exercise as part of its constitutional duties.
