Nigeria Secures $200m AfDB Loan to Boost Fibre Infrastructure and Broadband Growth

The Federal Government has secured a $200 million loan from the African Development Bank (AfDB) to support the rollout of a 90,000km open-access fibre optic network across Nigeria. This initiative aims to deepen broadband penetration, accelerate the digital economy, and connect all 774 local government areas to high-speed internet infrastructure.
