COALITION PRAISES GOVERNOR OTU’S LEADERSHIP ON 2ND ANNIVERSARY

The Cross River State Coalition on Good Governance, a prominent group of young people from various political parties, has commended His Excellency, Senator (Apostle) Prince Bassey Otu’s leadership style, describing it as “all-inclusive and transformative” as he marks his second anniversary in office.

In a statement signed by its Director General, Mr. Coco-Bassey Esu, the coalition highlighted the governor’s remarkable infrastructural advancements in the state, noting that significant progress has been made in restoring abandoned key structures and driving development.

“Governor Otu’s leadership has brought a new era of infrastructural development to Cross River State,” the statement read. “Despite inheriting a state with abandoned key structures, his visionary leadership has ensured significant progress in restoring these structures and driving development.”

The coalition also praised the governor’s culture of work, describing it as “mature, calm, calculated, and respectful of all shades of opinion.” This approach, they noted, has fostered a sense of unity and cooperation among stakeholders, promoting a conducive environment for development.

In addition, the group lauded Nigeria’s 29 years of uninterrupted democracy, acknowledging the country’s progress in consolidating democratic institutions. They called for unity and solidarity among Nigerians, emphasizing the need for collective efforts to promote good governance and development.

The coalition expressed its confidence in Governor Otu’s leadership, noting that his administration has shown a strong commitment to the welfare of the people. They wished the governor and his team continued success as they work towards building a brighter future for the state.

As the governor marks his second anniversary, the coalition urged all stakeholders to continue working together to promote good governance and development in Cross River State.
