Super Eagles Prepare for Crucial World Cup Qualifiers
The Super Eagles are gearing up for their upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against Rwanda and South Africa. Out of the 23-man squad invited for the double-header fixtures, 13 players have arrived in camp, with 10 more expected to join them later today and early tomorrow.

Upcoming Fixtures
The Super Eagles will host Rwanda on Friday at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, followed by a match against South Africa in Bloemfontein on Monday. These fixtures are crucial, as only the top team in Group C will qualify automatically for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The Super Eagles currently sit third in Group C with two points from two matches, behind leaders South Africa and Rwanda. Nigeria needs to secure maximum points in these upcoming matches to revive their World Cup dreams .
