President Tinubu Greenlights Construction of 600-Capacity Hostels for Abuja Law School
In a significant development, President Bola Tinubu has approved the construction of a 600-capacity hostel complex for the Nigerian Law School in Abuja. This project aims to provide much-needed accommodation for students at the institution.
The project involves building two new hostels, each with a capacity of 300 students. One hostel will cater specifically to female students, while the other will be for male students.
In addition to the hostels, President Tinubu has also approved the construction of a new road linking the Body of Benchers Secretariat in Jabi District to Nile University. This road is expected to ease traffic congestion, particularly on the route leading to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) head office.
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has been directed to commence work on the projects immediately.
The projects will be executed under “emergency consideration,” as stated in a release by the minister’s media aide, Lere Olayinka .
This development is expected to enhance the learning experience for students at the Nigerian Law School in Abuja and improve the overall infrastructure in the area.
