President Tinubu Appoints Ambassadors to Strengthen Nigeria’s Diplomatic Engagements
The Federal Government has announced the posting of ambassadors to various countries, fulfilling President Bola Tinubu’s promise to appoint diplomats to represent Nigeria’s interests abroad. The Minister of Information, Idris, made this announcement, stating that the appointments are in response to public demands for the posting of ambassadors .
The Senate had recently confirmed 64 ambassadorial nominees, including notable figures such as Femi Fani-Kayode, Reno Omokri, and Abdulrahman Dambazau. The confirmation followed a thorough screening process by the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs .
