Obi attributed these challenges to leadership failure, stating that “Nigeria is looted into poverty” and that “the system is rigged to reward mediocrity and recycle failure.”

He urged opposition leaders to join him in the ADC, saying, “I now respectfully call on my political associates, the Obidient Movement and opposition leaders across the country to join this broad national coalition under the African Democratic Congress.”
