Nigeria Takes a Leap Towards Digital Governance with 1Gov Cloud Platform

The Federal Government of Nigeria has made a significant move towards achieving a paperless civil service by launching the 1Government Cloud Enterprise Content Management System (1Gov ECMS). The 1Gov ECMS is a digital platform designed to automate workflows, reduce paper dependence, and enable real-time collaboration across government ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs). The platform provides a range of features, including:

The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Didi Esther Walson-Jack, has urged other MDAs to key into the system, emphasizing the importance of digital transformation in achieving a paperless civil service
