Nigeria Police Recruitment 2025/2026: Application Portal, Requirements & How to Apply

The Police Service Commission (PSC) has officially announced the recruitment of 50,000 Police Constables into the Nigeria Police Force (NPF). This initiative aims to strengthen community policing and enhance internal security across the country .

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for the recruitment, applicants must:

– Be Nigerian citizens by birth
– Possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN)
– Be medically, physically, and psychologically fit
– Be free from any criminal conviction or financial embarrassment
– Meet the required height and educational qualifications for their chosen cadre .

Cadres and Requirements

The recruitment covers two main categories:

General Duty: Applicants must be between 18 and 25 years old, possess a minimum of five credits in WAEC, SSCE, or NECO (including English Language and Mathematics), and meet the required height of 1.67m for males and 1.64m for females.
Specialists Applicants must be between 18 and 28 years old, have at least four relevant credits, and possess recognized qualifications or trade test certificates with a minimum of three years’ practical experience in fields such as medical services, ICT, engineering, driving, and motor mechanics .
