NDLEA Revolutionizes Drug Tests and Visa Clearance with New Digital Portal
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has taken a significant step towards enhancing transparency, accessibility, and efficiency in its operations by unveiling a new digital platform for drug integrity tests and visa clearance certificates. This innovative platform, known as the Drug Integrity Test and Visa E-Administration System, was launched on October 21, 2025, in Abuja, Nigeria.
The NDLEA Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Marwa (retd), described the initiative as “a paradigm shift in our fight against the scourge of substance abuse and illicit drug trafficking.” The platform aims to streamline the process of obtaining drug integrity tests and visa clearance certificates, reducing the time and effort required for applicants.
The platform automates all processes related to drug integrity testing and visa clearance, eliminating human interference and delays.
The system integrates with partner agencies, ensuring effective collaboration and efficient processing of applications.
The platform allows private medical centers to partner with the agency as accredited centers for drug integrity tests.
Applicants can now log on to the NDLEA website to create accounts, book appointments, and complete their applications without visiting NDLEA offices.
The platform reduces the time and effort required for applicants to obtain drug integrity tests and visa clearance certificates.
The system ensures transparency and accountability in the application process, reducing the risk of corruption and abuse.
The platform is accessible from anywhere, allowing applicants to apply and book appointments online.
The launch of this digital platform is a significant step towards modernizing the NDLEA’s operations and improving the experience of applicants.
