Imo Government Cracks Down on Open Grazing in Owerri
The Imo State government has given cattle herders in Owerri a two-week ultimatum to end open grazing within the city. The directive, which takes effect from July 24, 2025, aims to maintain public orderliness and promote peaceful coexistence between herders and local farmers.
