Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has confirmed that he won’t discuss his future with the club until after the 2026 World Cup. This decision comes as Fernandes prepares to make his 300th appearance for United in their Premier League match against Brighton.

Fernandes emphasized his commitment to the club, stating, “As I’ve always said, I feel good here. I want to achieve my dreams still.” He rejected speculation about agreements for a transfer, insisting that he hasn’t had discussions about his future with anyone, including his agent, until after the World Cup .

Fernandes’ contract with Manchester United expires in 2027, with an option for an additional year. However, there’s a clause that allows him to join a club outside England for £56.68 million if triggered early enough .

Fernandes’ family has settled well in Manchester, with his kids loving school and their life in the city. His wife asked him if he’d achieved everything he wanted at the club, and Fernandes admitted he hadn’t, fueling his desire to stay and succeed with United .

With the World Cup on the horizon, Fernandes is focused on helping United achieve success. He turned down a lucrative offer from Al-Hilal in the summer, opting to pursue his dreams with Manchester United instead .
