The All Progressives Congress (APC) has unveiled an updated schedule for its 2026 nationwide congresses, national convention, and related activities. According to the APC, the revised timetable is designed to ensure smooth and transparent processes across all states, in line with the party’s organizational requirements .
– Ward congresses: February 18, 2026
– Local Government congresses: February 20-21, 2026
– State congresses: March 3 or March 7, 2026 (sources vary slightly on the exact date)
– Zonal congresses: March 21 or March 25, 2026 (sources vary slightly on the exact date)
– National Convention: March 25-28, 2026 .
– Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms will be available for purchase and collection at the Directorate of Organisation, 2nd Floor, APC National Secretariat, Abuja.
– Only forms obtained from the Directorate of Organisation will be considered valid for the ongoing processes.
– The party has also announced adjustments to its 2026 National Convention Central Coordination Committee, including changes to its leadership and membership to reflect zoning exigencies .
The APC’s adjusted timetable is part of the party’s efforts to strengthen internal democracy and ensure that all party activities are conducted in a structured and orderly manner.
