Akwa Ibom Governor Warns Against Harbouring Criminals
The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Umo Eno, has issued a stern warning to residents of the state, cautioning that any house found harbouring criminal elements will be demolished. Speaking at the Government House Monthly Prayer Service, Governor Eno emphasized the need to preserve the prevailing peace and security in the state.
The Governor urged residents to stop supporting or harbouring criminals, warning that any attempt to undermine the state’s peace and security would be dealt with accordingly. He emphasized that the state government would not hesitate to take action against anyone found to be involved in criminal activities.
Governor Eno also highlighted areas that require immediate attention, including the flood-prone Aka Itiam Street. He assured residents that work would pick up pace with the onset of the dry season, and that the state government is committed to improving the lives of its citizens.
