The Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB) has released a preliminary report indicating that two Air Peace crew members tested positive for alcohol and drugs after a runway incursion at Port Harcourt International Airport on July 13, 2025. The incident occurred when the Boeing 737 aircraft veered off Runway 21 after landing from an unstabilized approach, touching down 2,264 meters from the runway threshold and coming to a final stop 209 meters into the clearway. Thankfully, all 103 passengers and crew members disembarked safely without injuries .
