Missed the 2026 UTME because of technical issues or biometric problems? You’ve got one last chance. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has fixed Saturday, June 13, 2026, for the official UTME mop-up exam.

JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin, confirmed on Monday that the mop-up is strictly for candidates who showed up and were biometrically verified for the main 2026 UTME held between April 16 and 23, but couldn’t write the exam.

Reasons covered include:
Technical challenges, at CBT centres
Biometric verification issues
Examination infractions that prevented candidates from sitting

“The mop-up examination represents the final phase of the annual UTME exercise,” JAMB said. It’s designed to resolve all outstanding issues for verified candidates who faced difficulties.

JAMB is clear: this is the final opportunity. “There will be no further opportunity for any candidate to sit the 2026 UTME after this mop-up exercise,” the board warned.

1. Print your Examination Notification Slip starting June 6. Don’t wait until the last day.
2. Locate your exam centre early.Visit the venue before June 13 so you know the route and avoid lateness.
3. Make all necessary arrangements for transport and accommodation if needed.
4. Bring required documents. Your slip, valid ID, and any materials JAMB specifies.
