The Super Eagles squad is taking shape in London ahead of the Unity Cup semi-final clash. As of May 24, 2026, 17 players are now in camp with head coach Éric Chelle preparing his team to face the Warriors of Zimbabwe.

Goalkeeper Francis Uzoho, midfielder Chibuike Nwaiwu, and forward Rafiu Durosinmi checked into camp as the latest additions. Their arrival follows 14 players who reported on Saturday, May 23, giving Chelle a strong group to work with before Tuesday’s semi-final.

DAILY POST confirms the team held its first training session on Saturday at Cray Valley FC, Middle Park Avenue, London. A second session is scheduled at the same venue tonight as preparations ramp up.

The Super Eagles will battle Zimbabwe on Tuesday, May 27, at The Valley in London. The Unity Cup has become a key fixture for African national teams based in Europe, and Nigeria will be looking to reach the final with a win over the Warriors.

Éric Chelle’s men are using the tournament to build chemistry and test tactics ahead of crucial World Cup qualifiers later this year. With 17 players already in camp, competition for starting spots is heating up.

While the full 17-man list hasn’t been released, confirmed names in camp include:
Francis Uzohb- Goalkeeper

More players are expected to join before matchday as clubs release them after weekend fixtures.

The Super Eagles camp is bubbling with 17 players and counting. With Uzoho, Nwaiwu, and Durosinmi now in, Éric Chelle has solid options in goal, midfield, and attack as Nigeria targets a Unity Cup final spot.
