How to Check and Print Your 2026 JAMB UTME Result Slip: Full Step-by-Step Guide
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the first batch of results for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). If you wrote your exam on Thursday, April 16, you can check your score now — but printing the official result slip is not available yet.
JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin confirmed this in a statement on Friday night. He added that the board will activate result slip printing at a later date.
The 2026 UTME started on April 16 and will run until April 22, 2026, at CBT centres nationwide.
JAMB currently allows only SMS score checking. Here’s how to do it:
1. Check your airtime: Make sure you have at least ₦50 airtime on the phone number you used for JAMB registration.
2. Send the keyword: Text `UTMERESULT` to `55019` or `66019`.
3. Receive your score: JAMB will reply via SMS with your UTME score.
Warning from JAMB: Do not edit or forge the SMS you receive. “Candidates are strongly cautioned against manipulating the SMS received from the official platform to fabricate or alter scores with the intent to mislead others, including parents. Such actions constitute a serious criminal offence,” Benjamin said.
How to Print Your Official 2026 JAMB Result Slip (When Activated)
Your official result slip includes your passport photo, full scores, and details needed for admission and screening. Once JAMB enables printing, it will cost ₦1,500 and must be done via the e-Facility portal.
Steps to print when available:
1. Visit `efacility.jamb.gov.ng`.
2. Log in with your registered email address and password.
3. On your dashboard, click Print Result Slip.
4. Click Continue with Payment and pay the ₦1,500 fee online.
5. Select 2026 as the examination year and enter your JAMB registration number.
6. Download and print the slip. Keep multiple copies — schools request it during post-UTME and admission.
Important Tips to Avoid Problems
| Do | Don’t |
| Use only official JAMB sites: `efacility.jamb.gov.ng` or `portal.jamb.gov.ng` | Visit cyber cafés or third-party sites promising “fast” results |
| Keep your registration number and email safe | Share your login details with strangers |
| Use “Forgot Password” if locked out, or visit a JAMB office | Panic if you forget your password |
If you’ve forgotten your password or email, use the Forgot Password option on the portal or go to the nearest JAMB office with your registration details.
Right now, you can only check your 2026 UTME score via SMS to 55019/66019. Printing the official result slip will open later on JAMB’s e-Facility portal for ₦1,500. Bookmark `efacility.jamb.gov.ng` and avoid scams.
