US Provides $6.5 Million in Humanitarian Aid to Support Vulnerable Children in Nigeria’s North-West
The United States has committed $6.5 million in humanitarian aid to support vulnerable children in Nigeria’s North-West region. The funds will be used by UNICEF to provide ready-to-use food, medicine, and other humanitarian supplies to address the growing needs of children and families affected by conflict, displacement, and food insecurity .
The North-West region of Nigeria faces serious food insecurity and malnutrition, exacerbated by conflict and displacement, which disrupts access to farmland and basic services.
