CAC Warns Nigerians Against Dealing with Fake Companies

The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has issued a warning to Nigerians against dealing with individuals or organizations operating under certain company names and registration numbers that are not found in its official records. This warning is aimed at protecting investors, businesses, and the general public from fraudulent activities

The CAC has listed several unregistered companies that Nigerians should be cautious of, including:

The CAC advises members of the public to always verify the status of any company or business name directly on the CAC portal before engaging in transactions. This can be done by visiting the CAC website and using their online verification tool
