President Tinubu Welcomes Release of Abducted Kebbi Schoolgirls

President Bola Tinubu has welcomed the release of the 24 schoolgirls abducted from Government Girls’ Secondary School in Maga, Kebbi State. The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, announced the release in a statement, commending the security agencies for their efforts in securing the freedom of the victims

The President’s statement comes as a relief to the families of the abducted girls and the entire community. The girls were kidnapped last Monday, and their release is a testament to the efforts of the security agencies. Tinubu has called on the security agencies to intensify operations to rescue students who are still in captivity
