APC Slams Osun Governor Adeleke Over Judiciary Staff Strike and Frequent Trips Abroad
The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has criticized Governor Ademola Adeleke for his handling of the state’s judiciary staff strike, which has lingered for over two months. The party also faulted the governor’s frequent trips abroad, alleging that he has traveled to the United States at least six times this year on the state’s dime, despite the state’s economic and security challenges

The APC accused Adeleke of abandoning governance and ignoring the plight of the state’s judiciary staff, who have been on strike over delayed promotions and welfare issues. The party noted that the strike has shut down all courts in the state for over two months, denying justice to the people of Osun State
The APC also contrasted Adeleke’s actions with those of President Bola Tinubu, who recently canceled a working visit to South Africa due to rising insecurity nationwide. The party questioned Adeleke’s priorities, given the security challenges in neighboring Kwara State and the state’s own economic and healthcare challenges
The APC called on the people of Osun State to continue their “endurance game” until the next governorship election, when they can vote out Adeleke’s administration. The party expressed hope that a new government will prioritize the needs of the state’s citizens and provide effective governance
