President Tinubu Meets with New Service Chiefs at Aso Villa

President Bola Tinubu recently met with the newly appointed service chiefs at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. The meeting included Lt-Gen Olufemi Oluyede, Chief of Defence Staff; Maj-Gen W. Shaibu, Chief of Army Staff; Rear Admiral I. Abbas, Chief of Naval Staff; Air Vice Marshal S.K. Aneke, Chief of Air Staff; and Maj-Gen E.A.P. Undiendeye, Chief of Defence Intelligence.

The President made significant changes to the military hierarchy, appointing new leaders to key positions. These appointments aim to strengthen Nigeria’s national security architecture.

Tinubu urged the new service chiefs to enhance professionalism, vigilance, and comradeship within the Armed Forces. He expressed gratitude to the outgoing Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, and other service chiefs for their dedicated service.

The meeting highlights the government’s commitment to improving national security and defending the country’s interests. With these new appointments, Nigeria’s military leadership is poised to tackle emerging challenges and promote stability in the region.
