The Minister also highlighted other achievements of the ministry, including:
– Clearing a long-standing backlog of promotions, with over 50,000 officers promoted within the last two years alone
– Developing new training manuals and constructing a world-class Fire Academy
– Emphasizing the importance of mental health in the workplace and assuring officers of full support
– Encouraging private sector partnerships to enhance service delivery and modernize firefighting operations
