Governor of Bauchi Appoints Chinese National as Economic Adviser to Enhance Foreign Direct Investment

Recently, the Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, announced the appointment of a Chinese citizen Li Zhensheng as the State’s Economic Adviser with the purpose of fostering foreign investment, infrastructure, and economic development within the State. This move aims to make Bauchi a center of international cooperation and investment.

The partnership of Bauchi State with the China Global Promotion Cooperation Research Centre will be structured to work on Agriculture, Education, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Mining, Oil and gas, and Trade facilitation.

A representative office of the Bauchi State will be opened in China to supervise the action plan of the projects, negotiate new investments, and ensure that the projects are executed within the stipulated timelines.

The collaboration is also expected to increase foreign investments, job opportunities, the investment, skilled modernized, and improve the overall profile of the state in the global arena.

Zhensheng, the chairman of China Global Promotion Cooperation Research Centre, assures the state that he will allocate the necessary resources to transform the state’s economic situation. We will make sure to support in the sustainable development of the state which entails constant growth, updated infrastructure, and better standards of living.
