Strategic Partnership: Dangote Refinery and Ardova Plc Seal Bulk Purchase Deal

In a move aimed at guaranteeing supply security and affordable prices for customers, Ardova Plc, a leading integrated downstream oil and gas business in Nigeria, has entered into a bulk purchase framework with Dangote Refinery. This strategic partnership is expected to enhance the competitive landscape in the downstream oil and gas industry in Nigeria.

Key Benefits of the Partnership

The agreement will enable Ardova Plc to off-take a full slate of petroleum products from Dangote Refinery, ensuring a stable supply of high-quality products to its customers nationwide. This partnership aligns with President Tinubu’s drive for competition and improved efficiency in the industry.

A Win-Win for Nigerians

The development comes on the heels of Dangote Refinery’s recent commencement of crude oil refining, along with Port Harcourt Refinery and Warri Refinery. This increased refining capacity is expected to lead to lower prices and improved product quality. In fact, Dangote Refinery has already partnered with MRS to sell petrol at ₦935 per litre nationwide, a move that is expected to benefit Nigerian consumers.

Dangote’s Commitment to Nigerians

Aliko Dangote, Chairman of Dangote Refinery, emphasized the company’s commitment to providing high-quality petroleum products at discounted prices. “The Dangote Refinery is for the benefit of Nigeria and Nigerians. We will continue to work with various value chain players to deliver high-quality petrol at cheaper prices,” he stated.

As the Nigerian oil and gas industry continues to evolve, partnerships like this one between Dangote Refinery and Ardova Plc are crucial in driving growth, efficiency, and competitiveness.
